Through my art, I explore the web of psychology and meditation. I am an artist obsessed with neuroaesthetics and how art effects the brain. I aim to paint beautiful things that act as a bridge between the rawness of feelings and the healing power of imagination and meditation.
When I paint, I feel like a choreographer pausing the dance of shadow, light and color at the precise moment where all of them are in their full expression. To find that full expression of each component of the dance, I use a combination of classic and modern oil painting techniques.
I live and work in Seattle, Washington, USA. I was born in Denver, Colorado, USA. I love my family and friends, any body of water, reading and writing, music, traveling and my garden.
